Everyone, may I have your attention please. Here is great news that you may not want to miss. HostEase has introduced a new policy on Dedicated IP.

From now on, if you purchase SSL certificate, you can get a FREE dedicated IP, which is $ 30 per year. However, please keep in mind that SSL certificate and free dedicated IP are not refundable.

If you are already using Hostease, you might know that Business Plan does not come with free dedicated IP by default; but you can apply one if you have to install SSL certificate. Meanwhile, Blog and Basic Plans do not have dedicated IP option when purchasing, but have SSL certificate option, which is also with free dedicated IP. Still, we have to remind you that customers who have purchased dedicated IP must install SSL certificate.

To be clear, the following are the steps for you to have SSL certificate. Make sure you have read it before you purchase SSL certificate:

Client purchase SSL certificate – submit application information – we apply to the certificate authority for the certificate – client confirmation – issue the certificate – assign IP installation certificate

If there is any question, please feel free to contact us. We are ready to help.

Hostease has three choices in purchasing web hosting. They are blog, basic and business. Among them, only those who choose business one can get a free dedicated IP. Maybe there are many people who don’t know about dedicated IP too much, so just let us learn more about it together.

Using a dedicated IP has more advantages than using a shared one. The following are some reasons that can explain it.

1.People can access your site via your dedicated IP, while using shared IP can not achieve this goal. So your site can be accessed in two ways. Shared IP just can open the default page.

2.Having a dedicated IP allows your site to be separated from other sites on the server. If you want a stable service, dedicated IP is a necessity. If you use shared IP, your site will easily be affected when one of the sites on the server has something wrong and leads to the suspension of the shared IP. Or, when share IP is attacked, if we can not be sure which account is attacked, then all of the accounts on the server will be influenced. What is the function of dedicated IP? That is to say, dedicated IP does not have the risk (which) talked above.

3.Furthermore, if you want to use SSL function, a dedicated IP is a must. Only if you have dedicated IP, then you can install SSL certificate. Because SSL certificate can only be installed in a certain IP which excludes shared IP for you can not set up a safe site based on shared IP.

4.Meanwhile, a dedicated IP is also a necessity of using anonymous FTP in Hostease. To have the function of anonymous FTP, you should buy a dedicated IP. Anyway, a dedicated IP is a better choice.

Obviously, there are more than these advantages above. Anyone who uses dedicated IP will benefit from it and will find the good points of using dedicated IP. So, are you ready to have one?

Nearly no one knows the policy of mail when they purchase hosting or domain in Hostease. Here I will tell you something about it.

Many people are likely to ask whether we support post office or not. I am glad to tell you that we do support it. You can build email account by using your domain name as the mail suffix. What’s more, it is very convenient for you to build email account in your control panel and configure it by yourself. The biggest surprise is that we don’t have any limitations on disk space for basic or business shared hosting, so you can build countless email accounts and allot different amount of quota for your accounts.

There are many advantages for you. Firstly, for shared hosting, every domain name can send 500 outgoing emails per hour, which also applies to mailman. Secondly, mailing list is important enough for one company, which can simplify sending messages to a large group of people. In addition, mailing list is very useful when sending newsletters or other updates to large group of people. In Hostease, different hosting plans have different limitations on the number of mailing lists. For blog hosting, you can build 20 mailing lists, basic hosting have 25 and business hosting have 50. However, it does not mean you can create unlimited email addresses for one mailing list although you can build mailing list. For shared hosting solution, mailing list should be no larger than 5,000 addresses and any mailing list over 900 email address is only allowed to be sent to during off-peak times. You must have confused the meaning of off-peak time, which qualifies as 1AM-8AM Eastern Standard Time Monday – Friday, and all day of Saturday and Sunday.

All these are direct at shared hosting, you can see some limitations. But for dedicated hosting solution, we don’t have any limitations on sending outgoing emails, building mailing list and the addresses that mailing list contains. So please feel free to use it when you purchase dedicated hosting.

According to the Terms of Hostease, any form of spam is strictly prohibited.HostEase.com takes a zero tolerance policy against the sending of unsolicited e-mail, bulk emailing, Junk E-mail and UCE (collectively, the “spam”).Once we got the complaint from others or we ourselves found subscribers who send out spam to others we will remind you at first and then if you haven’t taken any measures to stop this behavior we will have your account terminated negotiable. So someone who is likely to build e-mail box for your employees should tell them the details just in case.

So have you made up your mind to purchase our hosting?

Have you ever met: “There are no databases associated with your account.” in cPanel MySQL Databases Area”?

Some dedicated hosting users of hostease may have the experience of encountering such mistake “There are no databases associated with your account” when they click the button “MySQL Databases” in cPanel. But they accidently found that their former databases do exist in phpMyAdmin. That is, the databases disappeared in cPanel although they still existed in phpMyAdmin. Usually, some smart users may try to create the same databases with those shown in phpMyAdmin in “MySQL Databases” area. Unfortunately, they got the error notice: The database name has already existed.

In the end, they have to ask hostease technical representatives for help. Now I will share such experience with you all. It was caused by error of database map. We only need to update it using database map tool in WHM and then it will be returned to normal. Here are the tips for us to solve this problem. First, log into your WHM. Then click SQL Services >> Database Map Tool under the Main page. Choose the right account in Account Selection area and then click “Select” button. You will come to the “Update Database Map” page. Here, please input the suitable Database users and Database names which can be found in phpMyAdmin but not in cPanel, and click the button “Submit Query”. Finally, you can find the database shown in cPanel “MySQL Databases” area again. Step by step, and you’ll make all the databases which are disappeared in cPanel come up again. How incredible!

Recently, we have made a decision of developing China into one of HostEase’s top markets on the top meeting.

In August, 2009, HostEase announced that it had launched the support of Alipay — the major online payment method in China. The Eastern country has become one of the most important markets for hosting industry. A research for CRINORDIC.COM indicates that there are 384 million Internet users in China by the end of 2009, among which the need of web hosting are growing rapidly.

There’s some web hosting providers that have already started their business in China. It would be hard work to get better position in the ever-growing market, fortunately the support of Alipay laid a solid foundation for our entering Chinese market.

As one of the most promising hosting provider with high performance in the field, we make “Easing Customers’ Hosting Experience” as our mission, and are dedicated in providing the best service for our customers.

Our Chinese official web site will be launched in a few months, and other service projects such as hosting solutions designed for Chinese small and medium-sized enterprises and individuals, Chinese customer service are also in progress now.

Hope everything goes well!
